Identify, prospect and qualify significant partnerships via Wholesale Brokerages, Program Administrators, Intermediaries and Reinsurance Brokers that align with our appetite and capabilities.
Steward new wholesale partnership opportunities through a multi-faceted due diligence process engaging across several different disciplines including Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, Legal, Operations, Loss Control, and Compliance.
Maintain continuous understanding of key client concerns and challenges specific to the particular market niche they serve, and leverage internal resources to maximize program potential and client satisfaction.
Lead participation in key conferences and industry events that are critical to the visibility of the AmTrust Specialty division, with an emphasis on our E&S Wholesale business.
Analyze Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats for AmTrust Specialty and engage in strategic efforts to maintain and increase relevance in a competitive market space.
Lead in management of several key national brokerage relationships leveraging all AmTrust Specialty operating unit capabilities inclusive of Program, Wholesale E&S, and Management Liability platforms.
Must possess +10 years of relevant E&S business development or production underwriting experience
Must possess an understanding of the E&S marketplace and recent experience in this market
Must be able to demonstrate exceptional written and oral presentation skills
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and developing relationships
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to travel as required
