The Business Development Account Executive will be a sales resource assisting the VP of Business Development and the Director of Business Development in closing new local media and advertising agency partners and assisting the AdCellerant Onboarding Team in activating partnerships. In this position the right individual will be tasked with presenting all aspects of the AdCellerant platform from our capabilities, tools and resources, and our proprietary total digital agency software solution, UI.Marketing. The Business Development Account Executive will also understand how the AdCellerant platform can be applied by prospective partners to complement their owned-and-operated capabilities and platforms that they are executing in-house.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a granular technical and sales knowledge across all major digital platforms including programmatic display advertising including Programmatic display, email, Facebook and Google (SEO and paid search). The right individual will articulate how these tactics can be applied by advertisers to accomplish their goals and objectives. The position will also require the candidate to understand reporting and analytics tools that are being leveraged in the digital advertising space and how these tools can be used to build a campaign fulfillment story. This candidate will also possess the ability to conduct live demos of the AdCellerant platform, understanding how these digital marketing platforms and software can help a potential partner grow their digital sales revenue. Additionally, they will demonstrate the ability to train large scale sales teams across large geographical organizational footprints to help adoption, ramp, and revenue generation.
Strategy: Work with the VP of Business Development to develop and implement current and new business development plans to grow revenue. Develop new opportunities within key verticals, and prospects within companies to drive new business.
Execution: Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to build and pitch the benefits of AdCellerant’s proprietary technology and services and onboard new clients.
Communication: Internal communication is a crucial responsibility of this team to ensure team and client expectations are clear on its goals and strategic plans to drive revenue. External communication will include maintaining and elevating our standards of superior client service, translating and executing sophisticated digital marketing strategies that include digital, traditional media, best practices and growing client relationships.
Digital Training & Seminars: This role will participate in planning, building and delivering strategic digital advertising training and seminars. Both sales and product training will be a part of this role, primarily via conference webinar, but also in person. Effective and engaging public speaking is also a part of this role.

Troubleshooting: When problems arise, it will be necessary to perform troubleshooting steps to ensure that issues are properly resolved. Also, it will be part of your responsibility to document best practices so if the same issue arises again in the future the team is better prepared to handle it.

Starts at $65,000 based on experience, with $100,000+ earning potential based on goal attainment and overall revenue impact.
Ability to report to Denver, CO office on occasion preferred. Work from home available.

Bachelor’s degree required
3-7 years of experience in digital sales and/or digital ad operations, preferably in Advertising and Media Planning

Deep technical understanding of popular digital platforms including DSP’s, SSP’s, DMP’s, Adwords, Google Analytics, and more

Experience training large scale sales teams on the different digital marketing platforms used within the industry
Building, presenting, and closing platform-agnostic media plans for advertisers to reach different goals and objectives
Analyzing reporting through different platforms to determine success and how to teach, relay, and interpret for pedestrian understanding
Established track record of building and maintaining business professional relationships while continuing all job responsibilities
