Business Development Sales Representative
This purpose of this position is to develop both opportunities and future clients for the company to support its yearly goals and growth.

Duties/Responsibilities
Solicit new accounts identified by Director of Preconstruction.
Penetrate the market in new geographical areas of interest to the company.
Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting.
Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
Develop opportunities from industry leads through cold calls and triangulation.
Develop opportunities through networking with industry associations.
Attend trade shows and increase market awareness of the company.
Develop relationships with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to increase opportunities.
Develop and maintain individual goals for closing new business and new accounts.
Attend and participate in community functions to increase name recognition and network in key areas.
Utilize company s CRM system to keep management abreast of potential opportunities that are likely to develop into projects and log, track and maintain customer contacts and contact records.
Monitor deals closing on a quarterly basis to meet sales targets.
Meet with prospective clients and answer questions regarding Robinson s experience and qualifications.
Complete or assist in market research to identify key potential clients and geographical areas.
Qualify leads based on the fit for Robinson and the likelihood of the lead developing into a project.
Develop or assist with the development of proposals.
Maintain close relationships with clients during the course of construction to minimize profit fade and respond to client objections.

MS Office, Excel, and Access, PowerPoint
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Construction Management and/or Engineering and/or business or seven (7) years of construction experience or equivalent background is required.
MBA is preferred but not required.
Minimum of two (2) years of construction sales experience.
Must have excellent analytical and planning skills, good communication skills, and be knowledgeable and proficient with computers including spreadsheets, word processing, CRM, and database software systems.
Must have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and self-disciplined to set and follow work schedules.
Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
Public speaking abilities are preferred but not required.
Ability to deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
Strong in-person, phone and written customer communication skills.
Must be willing and able to travel, expected travel is 8-12 overnights per month; however the focus for this position will be in the greater Oklahoma City area.
Ability to develop relationships with potential clients and partners at multiple levels within the organization.
Must demonstrate trustworthiness at all times and represent the company with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
