Position Description – Global Legal Senior Manager:

Based in Philadelphia, this position manages projects for the Global Legal Operations team as part of Chubb Global Legal & Compliance group (L&C) and will manage projects and tasks from inception to delivery. This position will provide leadership and guidance on maintenance and development of knowledge sharing and communications platforms (e.g., company and legal intranets and digital library), management/administration of continuing legal education (CLE) program, administration of the CLE Learning Center Tool, administration/leadership on the mentoring program, administration and development of L&C Academy programs, management and oversight of third party providers and legal technology relationships, coordinate team and department communications, Legal & Compliance departmental operational improvements and efficiency projects, coordination of staffing/personnel updates and organization chart management, and finance/budget planning/tracking, etc. provides leadership and leads the projects and coordinates the core teams according to industry best practices in project management to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery of projects and assigned tasks. Manages the Administrative Assistant Team and the Legal Intern Program.

This individual will need strong financial, analytical, inter-personal and influence management skills; but more importantly, will need to be flexible and adaptable to evolving organizational demands.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Manage the development and maintenance of the L&C platforms which include SharePoint, Jive, and third-party web applications
  • Liaison with IT on applications including Pipeline Tracking System, Chubb Forms Data Base, Complaint Management System, Fines & Penalties, L&C Data Lake, L&C QlikSense Dashboard, Elevate Tool and ODEN
  • Business Continuty Coordinator
  • Work across a complex network of stakeholders, legal and compliance teams and other supporting external parties to ensure projects and assigned tasks are delivered on time and within budget
  • Experience in coordinating medium to large-scale projects or processes across multiple teams/constituents
  • Manages administrative / support tasks as necessary
  • Build strong relationships within legal and compliance organizations, project teams and vendors
  • Proven leadership skills and Mentor
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; strong attention to details; able to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; needs a problem solving mindset
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years overall project management and management experience; people leadership experience needed
  • SharePoint Site Collection Administration experience
  • Experience managing projects, including ones that involve external providers
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to drive results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with teams
  • Excellent written/verbal skills
  • Strong presentation skills; MS Visio skill a plus
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma / Lean certifications a plus
