The Human Resources Coordinator will coordinate human resources (HR) projects/responsibilities and the day to day ES duties that involve the diversified businesses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
Coordinates the execution of welcome information to new hires, sets up new hire into applicable time keeping systems, follows-up new hire survey, and coordinates random drug testing and birthday or service awards programs.
Oversees new hire survey tracking, educational reimbursement forms and tracking, government email tracking, annual performance evaluation tracking and communication, termination payouts, payroll verification, and communication with the time keeping administrator.
Assists and serves as a backup for new hire data entry.
Helps with updating organizational charts and completes employee actions and data entry for the diversified businesses.
Coordinates unemployment claims and employment verifications and serves as a point of contact between employee and corporate payroll and corporate benefits.
Assists with administering HR policies and procedures.
Assists with researching and analyzing data pertaining to HR in the areas of wage determinations and Davis Bacon Act.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
An associate's degree is required
At least two (2) years of previous HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Excellent problem solving and communication skills; both oral and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
