The HR Onboarding Specialist is responsible for all aspects of administration, coordination, and completion of consultant onboarding. Assure compliance requirements are met and all onboarding is completed prior to consultant assignment start date.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Onboarding
Responsible for Consultant onboarding; to ensure all proper documentation is received upon hire, tracked and filed accordingly. Follow up on outstanding items as needed.
Ensure assigned Consultant background checks and drug screens are completed.
Certify Client compliance requirements – including comprehensive understanding and interpretation of medical immunization records.
Self-manage workflow and Consultant follow up in an organized, efficient manner, ensuring deadlines are timely met
Ensure I-9 and E-verify are completed by required deadline
Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all assigned client's compliance requirements
Respond to Client /VMS audits
Provide Sales and Recruiting with status updates
HR
Report workplace injuries (including auto accidents) for consultants and collect detailed information regarding accident
Provide exceptional customer service communications via phone, email, mail, and at times in person, to Clients, Consultants, as well as internal staff.
Promptly report any compliance related concerns to senior HR management and other team members, work to bring issues to appropriate resolution as needed.
Partner with other departments to meet and exceed the Consultants' customer service expectations.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, programs, and compliance issues as necessary and researching state laws that support or supersede company policy.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Assist with other projects and duties assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree; minimum 2 years' experience; previous Human Resources
Requires ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve performance of the onboarding function
Preferred Experience:
Onboarding experience preferred
Exhibit a broad understanding of federal and state employment laws including the application of law during employment onboarding.
High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations and tight deadlines with poise and efficiency. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Light travel possible.
