Palace Entertainment Park Support team is actively seeking a self-starter with previous experience finalizing payroll and providing administrative support in a professional setting. Successful candidates will have the ability to manage multiple tasks at once, maintain professional relationships with employees and visitors, and assist with the processing of weekly payroll.
Summary
Supports a variety of tasks associated with Payroll, Human Resources, and office administrative duties
Roles & Responsibilities
Complete necessary processes to ensure accurate payment of weekly payrolls for multiple locations
Process wage garnishments, off-cycle manual paychecks and pay cards
Monitor the Corphr mail box and respond appropriately
Review and approve new hire requests, including requests for international students
Process various documents and transactions related to Payroll administration:
o separation notices and final pay checks on the off cycle as needed
o status changes such demotions for seasonal/part-time employees; tax information (local, city, state)
o pay rate changes
o uniform and housing deductions
o PA taxes for new hires
Acts as back up to Payroll Manager to produce reports as necessary:
o Weekly Census report
o Monthly US Dept. of Labor report - Count employees and report on website for 4 parks only -(Kennywood, Lake Compounce, Castle Park, Miami)
o Quarterly “Multiple Worksite Report”- Enter employee count and wages on the website for 4 states only CA, NH, PA, WI.
o EEO-1 annual reports for all parks
File payroll backup and reports
Assist with status changes such as promotions, demotions, separations, and changes in pay
Assign company web-based training, complete verifications of employment and unemployment claims
Provide administrative support to the Pennsylvania Park Support team
Maintain the Palace intranet landing page announcements
Receive and dispatch visitors to the Pennsylvania Park Support office
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree and/or equivalent work experience highly desired
Languages: Fluent English required

Experience: 1-3 year work experience in human resources/payroll
