The “Sr Analyst, UX Research” on the Innovation and Design team is charged to assist the transformation and defining for future products and retail experiences for all in-store technology. By partnering with cross-functional teams across Business and IT, the “Title and Name of Role” will unravel user behavior, attitudes, and needs by conducting research and usability studies for all in-store technology. This position calls for a collaborative spirit with the ability to aid in creative and innovative solutions through the Human-Centered Design process.


  • Conduct primary and secondary user research as needed at every stage of the product life cycle.
  • Conduct and evaluate qualitative research.
  • Perform market and ethnographic research in a retail setting.
  • Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluation, and iteration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics to ensure we are consistently supporting product initiatives.
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies based on product needs.
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Perform usability studies with field users.
  • Analyze data from the research, and collaborate with UX, UI Designers, and other workflow SMEs to propose intuitive solutions in a creative and engaging manner.
  • Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
  • Work with other workstreams across the Human-Centered Design team to educate cross-functional teams on the importance of UX Design and Research.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of UX research experience - conducting user interviews, usability testing, ethnographic research, card sorting (preferably retail environment),with the following experience:
  • Experience with in-person and remote testing tools/techniques
  • A desire for creative problem-solving with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with remote testing and data gathering tools in the market (ex: userlytics, user testing, SurveyMonkey)
  • MS in a human behavior related
  • Bachelor's in a human behavior related field
