As a Senior Project Manager II, Manufacturing, your expertise, strategy skillset and dedication to delivering projects on time and on budget will allow you to drive initiatives by identifying and defining desired change or new process; validating value and priority while driving project plans, and developing manufacturing capabilities for Walmart. You'll make a direct impact on the business and help families all over the world save money and live better. What you'll do…

  • Manage a portfolio of manufacturing projects from inception to completion, with overall responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget. Projects will range from large to small in scope.
  • Program lead for key initiatives managed by the Walmart Manufacturing team. Responsible for working with key leaders to develop strategy and plan the program for implementation.
  • Oversight of the program implementation, rollout, and project team progress. Project team includes approx. 60 internal and external groups.
  • Responsibility for presenting to key leadership and partners while keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Observes trends across the program and brings awareness to the team providing insight, consistency and developing cross functional solutions where needed.
  • Develops ways of working thru coordination with cross functional teams, securing leadership and support group buy-in, communicating and training for the team and other impacted groups.
  • Lead program meetings involving all key stakeholders that are strategic to meeting overall goals.
  • Serves as a team lead and/or subject matter expert that supports other WM Business initiatives, to consult with and provide direction to their project specific needs, while keeping leadership up to date.
  • Seeks and implements opportunities within the program to develop or refine process that optimize procedures, reduce time, while providing better consistency.
  • Develop and manage program/project budgets with cross-functional partners through collaboration with internal resources, third party consultants, general contractors, etc.

You'll make an impact by:
  • Delivering Manufacturing projects on time and on budget with little to no business interruption
  • Managing the development and implementation of process improvements to improve business results by overseeing evaluations and execution of multiple projects
  • You have proven strengths in managing stakeholders and conflicting priorities Leveraging cross-functional team and operational needs across the division to identify barriers and obstacles that impact manufacturing projects across the division
  • You have strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills coupled with strong communication skills to problem solve issues as they arise within projects
  • Always looking for creative ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and customer experience
