The Apple's WW Market research and Analysis team is looking for an inspiring strategist in the Education field to support product surveys in key geographies. We are looking for someone with a strong research background, education experience, financial acumen, analytical rigor and a passion for understanding industry trends. The primary focus of the role will be assisting in the design, development and delivery of great in-depth results to assist business leaders in decision making. A strong ability to understand the needs of the end users and to create ad-hoc solutions to meet those needs. Someone who has extensive experience translating data into impactful information and linking it to business problems. We are looking for someone with strong analytical capabilities, superior financial / quantitative horsepower, and a deep interest in Apple’s products, business and strategy.

Key Qualifications

  • 10 years of relevant and proven success experience in education and technology in a high-performing, high-growth organization or in a market research firm.
  • Established experience in a global company on multi-market and multilingual projects.
  • Strong project management skills with proven influence and experience with senior leaders.
  • Solid understanding of the education market and customers.
  • An open mind, proactive with a clear ability to effectively listen and distill complex decisions into simple yet comprehensive business models.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional projects, working across several teams to create consensus and provide deliverables under tight deadlines, fast changing priorities and with excellent attention to detail as well as being able to see the bigger picture.
  • Strong presentation skills including content creation and delivery with an exceptional Keynote skill
  • Analytical thinker and fast learner with demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Passion and curiosity for technology and how it changes the way teachers teach and students learn around the globe.
  • Highly analytical, intellectually curious with established experience in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the survey.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and modelling skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of SPSS and other analytical tools a plus.


This position is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand the global education market and Apple's customers and develop insights to support business decisions. This role will also work on developing ongoing reports on customer behaviors and trends. Enable the marketing team to make data-driven decisions by reporting and analyzing data on program performance and business impact The candidate should have a proven track record in primary research analysis, developing meaningful insights, and effectively presenting to business partners. This person should also be able to develop research plans, actively identify business problems to be addressed, and synthesize from disparate sources to provide a holistic view of the consumer and education market. This role within the Worldwide Market Research team will provide an individual with the rare opportunity to lead the go-to-market strategy in partnership with our Education team and will not only provide daily support, but will also be a key player in the strategy to long term.

Education & Experience

We appreciate a strong record of academic achievement. A specialist degree in marketing, education, economics, statistics or market research is preferred. A thorough customer understanding of education is essential, as well as a clear understanding of the Apple brand, the use of Apple products in education, and Apple's approach to marketing.
