As a member of Capital Markets you will be responsible for building and maintaining key reports and performing detailed analysis across multiple areas of the Organization. These areas include origination trends, peer comparisons, pull through performance and origination PnL.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in daily PnL reporting and attribution research
Analyze pull through performance by Channel, product and loan attributes
Analyze loan profitability by Channel, product and loan attributes
Assist in analyzing Day 1 production margin/valuation versus the final executed margin/valuation
Develop and maintain reporting in support of the Company’s Risk profile and performance trends
Assist in enhancing reporting and analyzing loan recapture and its impact on the owned MSR portfolio
Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of SQL
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines while maintaining focus
Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems
Education and Experience Requirements:
BA/BS degree with 2+ years of mortgage industry experience
Experience and working knowledge regarding Mortgage Servicing Rights is preferred
Experience building Tableau reporting is a plus
Experience analyzing internal and industry trends and their impact to profitability
