Strategy Consultant We are currently seeking a Strategy Consultant to join our team.
SUMMARY This position is responsible for partnering with prospective and existing client executive leadership teams to evaluate and diagnose current state to develop both marketplace and customized strategic solutions regarding business strategy, organizational transformation strategy and change initiatives. This position collaborates on the development of and executes on a project scope that is time sensitive and results oriented and is aligned with the client's organizational strategy to attain the growth and retention objectives of the Strategic Consultant Services (SCS). This role works closely with C-Suite team members focusing on business strategy, organizational change, and frequently providing executive coaching.
Under general supervision and much decision-making:
Establishes client relationships with C-level executive teams to align human capital and operating philosophies with the mission and vision of the client company and determine if any organizational changes are required to successfully execute the agreed upon strategic plan.
Cultivates commitment at the C-level to implement fundamental strategic and cultural change to align with the organization's vision, mission and values. Uses advanced probing skills to facilitate discussions around client's current state to make the determination of client readiness.
Ensures project plans/statements of work are delivered as agreed to by both client and services/sales teams.
Chooses appropriate metrics to evaluate the ROI/ROE of projects and reports findings to C-level leadership team and key internal stakeholders.
Works both independently and as a collaborative consultant services team member to create and develop tailored or customized business strategy and/or organizational development performance improvement services to meet the needs of Middle Market clients and prospects.
Utilizes a variety of communication styles and a variety of media to convey information and ideas that are engaging and supports the knowledge transfer for individuals to understand and retain the message.
Collaborates with sales, service operations and strategic business development stakeholders to ensure that client focused initiatives are aligned with organizational strategy projects and other team deliverables align with the Customer for Life vision. This includes emphasis on relationship building and communication, working in close partnership with the Middle Market Account Executive.
Ensures work hours and essential client notes are documented in prescribed systems to support leadership analytics and reporting goals.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management (HRM), Industrial Psychology or related discipline or exchanged by 10 years of direct experience and an Associate's Degree is required.
Three to Five years of professional experience in an organizational development role and/or business operations field is preferred
Two plus years' experience working with senior leadership and C-level executives is strongly preferred

Strong time management and organizational skills including ability to manage multiple training or projects simultaneously.
Consultative skills and negotiation skills.
Objectivity to maintain a bias-free approach to situations and people.
Manages own performance in an effective manner when placed in new or challenging situations.
Demonstrates comfort in situations where the goal or process to achieve those goals is unclear and difficult to determine.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office product suite ® including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio or similar org chart software.
Proven ability to communicate (written and verbal), impact and influence decisions, and build relationships with consulting clients and team members.
High degree of integrity and discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
Shows a clear understanding of the organization, its activities and structures. Applies this during planning and delivery.
Proactively seeks to engage and work collaboratively with the SCS team and organizational and client key stakeholders to gain their buy-in and support. Uses compelling and clear arguments to influence and convince others.
Strong organizational political awareness with ability to navigate, demonstrating understanding of rules of engagement, and ability to adjust based on the client.
Basic to intermediate level of Business Knowledge, Talent and Learning Systems Knowledge, Human Performance Technology (HPT) and work systems.
